a Soviet copy of a Douglas DC-3 ( C-47 )
This one looks as if it might be undergoing a restoration or some sort of a major repair to it's tail.
I don't know any of the details about this particular bird though,this 'mostly un-annotated' photo was in a box full of assorted military ephemera that I bought at an auction years ago!
It's a seldom-seen warbird though and I thought that I'd share the image!

You sure it wasn't just a rebadged Douglas? The Soviets were big on that.
